Science Fair is May 1st! All projects are due NO LATER than April 29th!
Its that time of year again, time for the annual science fair! The science fair will be held on May 1st at Esperanza. All projects are due to Ms. Brashears NO LATER than April 29th. This gives Mrs. Brashears time to grade the projects before the fair, time for students to present, and assures all projects will be here and ready to set up in time. Any project turned in later than April 29th is subject to a penalty of 10% per day late. Any project turned in April 25th OR SOONER will receive 10% extra credit/bonus.
Parents, don't fret! You child will come home with 3 project ideas approved by Ms. Brashears (this assures the projects aren't too difficult, too expensive, take too long, or otherwise). You may then discuss with your child which one of the 3 they should do for the science fair.
Important Dates:
April 4th: Check in to make sure a project has been chosen and the hypothesis and research are complete (time in class will be given Monday and Tuesday)
April 17th: Check in for progress
April 25th: Last Day to receive extra credit for early turn in
April 29th: ALL PROJECTS DUE.
