Your job is to research famous scientist. You will then write an essay about the scientist, what their contribution to the world is, why it is important, and what the world would be like with out it.
Please follow the following format for your essay:
Paragraph 1: Introduce your scientist. Talk about when they were born, their home/family life, any interesting facts about them as a person. (4 sentences)
Paragraph 2: Talk about their career. When did they become a scientist? What were some of their smaller accomplishments? (3 sentences)
Paragraph 3: What was their biggest contribution to science/the world? Explain what it was, how they did it, etc. (4 sentences)
Paragraph 4: Why was their contribution so important? What impact did it have? (4 sentences)
Paragraph 5: What would the world be like with out their contribution? (5 sentences)
If there isn't enough information on your scientist....PICK A NEW ONE. This MUST be typed!! Use your time wisely.
You must write down WHERE you get your information from. REMEMBER TO CITE YOUR SOURCES! You may quote, paraphrase, summarize, etc. But you MUST cite!
